ISO?

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is a nonprofit organisation with members from over 163 countries working together to develop International Standards.

ISO Standards, often called International Standards, serve many purposes: they help to harmonise business practices and environmental regulations, facilitate trade, and ensure that products and services are safe, reliable, and of good quality.

There are different ISO accreditations that a business can possess, e.g.

ISO27001 –  is the international standard for information security. It sets out an information security management system (ISMS) specification.

ISO 9001 – is the international standard that defines the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). A Quality Management System enables organisations to manage their processes and systems to achieve customer and other stakeholder requirements.
